Travel destination: Maribor, Slovenia
The ESHP 2023 symposium will be held in the city of Maribor in Slovenia.

It is suggested that participants flying from distant countries use Graz Airport in Graz, Austria as their final destination.
Maribor can then be reached by bus, train, GoOpti Airport Transfer service or car rental.
The symposium venue (Hotel Habakuk) has local bus connection (Line 6 Vzpenjača) with Maribor central bus station running every 20 minutes from 4.30 until 22.35 (bus schedule). The cost of a single ride is 2 EUR, payable by cash to the driver. For multiple rides it is recommended to purchase a 10 ride buse ticket for 10 EUR at the Maribor city central bus station. Accommodation
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hotel Habakuk **** for symposium participants at a special price for reservations until June 30, 2023:
Standard rooms:
Double bed room – single use: 120 EUR per person per night
Double bed room – two persons: 70 EUR per person per night
Superior rooms:
Double bed room – single use: 150 EUR per person per night
Double bed room – two persons: 120 EUR per person per night

Entry and residence in Slovenia
Slovenia is included in the Schengen area of the European Union. To determine if a visa is necessary to enter Schengen countries in Europe, please refer to the Who must apply for a Schengen visa information.

The symposium secretariat will provide support for registered participants short-stay visa (C type) applications with appropriate guarantee letters upon request.
